Terms and Conditions

 

 

ARTWORK:

For artwork to be resized and printed clearly, it must be “vector art” saved as an .eps or .ai file. Files such as jpg, gif, png, etc., are not acceptable for printing. Art preparation charges will be applied if the file needs conversion for production. Regardless of the format, embroidery jobs require a one-time digitizing charge.

 

Unless otherwise arranged, all artwork and embroidery files created for your order by You Regatta remain the property of You Regatta and will be saved for exclusive use in producing your orders. Our policy is to provide art and digitizing services solely on a cost-recovery basis. The transfer of rights to creative work or materials prepared or contracted by You Regatta is subject to reasonable release fees, commensurate with the services rendered and at a value as determined solely by us.  

  

ORDER PROCESSING:

An order confirmation and proof will be provided with all product costs, service fees, and estimated shipping costs (when available) before being submitted to the factory. These documents must be reviewed and approved by an authorized company representative and will serve as a binding contract to accept the goods upon delivery. 

 

The manufacturing and decoration of custom products incur costs well before the final products are produced. If an order is canceled before shipping, the client is responsible for paying all expenses incurred. These costs include but are not limited to art charges, setup costs, and restocking fees.

 

You Regatta will work with the factory to correct any defects to products or errors made on the imprint not matching the approved art proof. We highly recommend ordering pre-production samples for inspection and testing to avoid any problems. (See Sample policy below.)   

 

INVOICING:

You Regatta will electronically send invoices to the representative designated per our new client submission form. Companies may apply for terms (typically Net 30), all other orders are Due Upon Receipt, with the following exceptions: Orders under $500 will need to be paid in full before processing. Orders over $6k will require a 50% deposit. Any order over $3k will not be eligible for paying by credit card.

 

New Customers: Orders under $500 are paid in full before processing. A 50% deposit is required on all other orders before the order is placed and the remaining balance is Due Upon Receipt of the invoice.

 

Invoices are emailed after the order ships, and we have the final quantity and freight charges. Past due invoices will incur a late fee: 31-60 days= 3%; 60-90 days= 5%; After 90 days, the matter will be sent to our collection agency.

 

We accept credit cards up to $3k via our online payment portal but would greatly appreciate it if customers pay by ACH transfer or check. 

 

OVER/UNDER RUNS:

As is standard in the industry, factories reserve the right to ship 3-8% over or under the quantity ordered. You will be invoiced for the amount sent. You must tell us if exact quantities are needed, and additional charges may apply.

 

SALES TAX:

All orders are subject to state sales tax. The shipping destination for the order determines the tax amount. Please provide a copy of your tax-exempt or resale certificate if your company has a tax exemption.  

 

SAMPLES:

We highly recommend ordering random or pre-production samples for inspection if time allows. Samples under $10 are free, and those over $10 will be invoiced. We will waive the cost if an order is placed for the product. Shipping costs will be invoiced.

 

SHIPPING:

Any shipping costs quoted are estimates only. The exact amount will be invoiced.

 

SUPPLIED ITEMS:

You Regatta does not assume responsibility for any supplied items damaged during the embroidery process. We will not issue credits or purchase replacement goods. Supplied items will not be accepted for screen printing. Some items may not be accepted for any decoration process at the discretion of You Regatta on a case-by-case basis. You will receive a better product and decoration if we are able to source you the correct items.

 

E-COMMERCE STORES:

You Regatta builds, maintains and administers a variety of online purchasing options and services for companies, their employees, club/organizations and their members, etc.. those stores are bound by a separate document of understanding.
